A realistic scene quickly shifts to possible ghost story or hallucination, perhaps a day dream. Ghosts of soldiers behind two women, one alive and one dead.

Each play took place in a different location (a living room, a park) but the presence of sand, pointing back to a past event in Iraq, was ever-present.

Creative Highlights
This show explored how reality, memory, grief, love, and ghosts of the past intertwined. The soundscape for the show was ethereal, beautiful, dark, tense, and quite peaceful at times as well. It was a joy filled collaborative process with the creative team and director - despite the show's darker subject matter. In addition to using various synths in the music, I also sampled several sounds associated with military like the various sounds of a rifle being handled, and also included the sounds of snare drums mixed with gun shots.
