Creative Highlights

Alabaster presented a big challenge to all involved, as it was filmed remotely over Zoom with actors' locations ranging from Hawaii to California to New York. Lighting, sound, and video equipment, set backdrops, props, makeup, and costumes were mailed to their homes as well. Actors wore microphones while filming, and then uploaded their vocal audio to Kenny Riches and myself for editing. Music and sound effects were added in post production. It was a feat of collaboration and creativity! Music featured banjo, upright bass, and piano with additional light percussion meant to feel a bit simple and rustic to tie into the scenic design.
